Mémé Odette and Her Daughter Ziva

Odette, affectionately known as “Mémé Tunisienne,” shared a deep bond with her daughter, Ziva. Both were united by an unwavering love for family, tradition, and passing down culinary know-how. From a young age, Ziva took a keen interest in the Tunisian culture and culinary heritage that her mother strove to pass on. Together, they kept alive the family’s recipes perfected over generations, while adding their own personal and creative touches.

Beyond cooking, their closeness was evident in many aspects of life: they loved sharing family stories, enjoying moments of joy and laughter, and passing on their shared values to Brooke. Their mutual support and desire to preserve tradition led to a true dynasty of inspiring women, linked by a respect for their roots and a wish to share these cultural treasures with the world. The legacy they now leave behind through their stories and recipes is a beautiful testament to family love and intergenerational solidarity.
